Woke up to find U.S. stock trading nearing its end. Today, two companies announced ATM offerings to buy Bitcoin. MSTR used a $4.2 billion quota to purchase 51,000 coins, instantly consuming 1/5 of the previously announced $21 billion—unbelievable. MARA used a $700 million quota but hasn’t disclosed the purchase amount yet. Both events follow the same logic: at a $90,000 price point, listed companies are racing to accelerate Bitcoin accumulation.
The market reacted very differently in terms of stock prices. MSTR surged 10% and then stabilized around a 7% gain, while MARA opened with a 10% drop, pulled back in a deep V-shape, and then plunged 14%. Why such completely different judgment logic for the same event? I don’t know, but it’s back within my price accumulation zone. Today’s move was to add shares as planned—first increasing CLSK holdings to 150,000 shares, then buying a few small lottery tickets expiring at month-end.
