In October 2024, Russia's passenger car market sold a total of 171,179 new vehicles, with Chinese automakers reaching total sales of 83,053 units, accounting for a market share of 48.30%.
Great Wall Motor's HAVAL (13.9%), Geely (10%), Chery (8.8%), and Changan (6.4%) performed strongly, with year-on-year growth rates of 85.6%, 65.7%, 39.4%, and 71.8%, respectively. Geely Group's BELGEE and Chery Group's OMODA, JETOUR, and EXEED also entered the top ten.
Although LADA maintained its market leadership, its growth slowed, and its market share declined. Toyota entered the top ten for the first time with a 62.5% increase.
Models such as the HAVAL Jolion, Chery Tiggo series, and Geely Monjaro stood out, demonstrating the strong competitiveness of Chinese brands in the SUV market.
