Feed Explorer$Strategy(MSTR.US) A common misconception many people have: BTC is the asset with the highest historical price increase. If that were the case, the top spots on the wealth rankings should all belong to the crypto community. This illusion arises because BTC has been publicly tradable since its startup and angel rounds, whereas company stocks only become available after IPO, allowing the public to track historical prices. In other words, if we compare the initial capital of companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Tesla at their founding to their current market capitalization, the increase might be as high as 100 million times. Currently, BTC should be considered as having gone through an IPO, and its future price increases can no longer be compared to those of angel, VC, or PE rounds—it will increasingly align with value-based valuation.
