$KULR Tech(KULR.US)This pilot mission will integrate multiple configurations of KULR ONE Space (K1S) batteries into a 6U small satellite. A 6U small satellite is a lightweight satellite with a standard structure of approximately 10 cm x 20 cm x 30 cm, made of durable materials such as aluminum or carbon fiber composites to withstand the extreme conditions of space. The K1S battery configurations have been carefully selected to demonstrate the performance of battery cells and packs, as well as electronic functionality in the orbital environment. This mission will also validate the flight capability of K1S, the first commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) lithium-ion battery series fully compliant with NASA JSC 20793 battery safety standards.
