At 22:44 on March 29, 2025, a Xiaomi SU7 standard version was involved in a serious traffic accident while driving on the Chiqi section of the Deshang Expressway. We deeply regret this incident.

According to preliminary understanding, the vehicle was in NOA intelligent assisted driving state before the accident, maintaining a speed of 116km/h. The accident occurred in a construction zone where the original lane was blocked by barriers and traffic was diverted to the opposite lane. The vehicle detected the obstacle, issued a warning and began to decelerate. Subsequently, the driver took over the vehicle and entered manual driving mode, continuing to decelerate and steering the vehicle, before colliding with a concrete pillar in the isolation zone. The system's last confirmed speed before collision was approximately 97km/h.

After the collision occurred, we immediately contacted the vehicle owner and learned that the driver was not the owner. Meanwhile, emergency rescue was called for the passengers, and we reported to police and called 120 emergency services.

Subsequently, police arrived at the scene and fully intervened in the accident investigation. Meanwhile, we immediately established a special task force that arrived in Tongling on the 30th. Under police guidance, we actively cooperated with investigation, evidence collection and other work, and submitted all vehicle driving data and system operation information we possessed to police on the evening of the 31st in accordance with law. We will continue to fully cooperate with police work and strictly follow investigation results to ensure transparent handling of the incident.

Meanwhile, our task force will also contact the families of the accident victims under police permission and guidance, providing full assistance for aftermath matters and offering support and help.
