I've been off my game these past few days. Even though I made a profit today, it felt noticeably harder to trade compared to before.

Google was moving against the market trend in the first half of the session. After making one profitable trade, I lost on several others, so I decided to stop trading this stock. I feel like it's easier to lose money after taking profits than when you haven't made any yet (or maybe holding onto profits affects your ability to cut losses promptly). That's why I've been making single trades on other stocks and exiting immediately.

Reflection:

I hesitated on one stop-loss order for Google today—that was a mistake.

After losing some money the past couple of days, I got a bit impatient. I need to stay calm and not rush to recoup losses. It's okay to take things slow.
