Let's chat during market closure today:

1. Don't fall into investment obsession. At its core, investing is about buying something and having someone else take it off your hands later. But some things won't find buyers - like stamps from the 1980s or Chanel from the early 2000s. Be wary of things younger generations won't buy into. That said, will today's youth collecting figurines find future buyers? Probably not either.

2. The same goes for real estate investment. If young people become content with renting and won't take over your property, your investment fails.

3. Short-term stock trading is essentially a game of finding naive investors to take over your position. Long-term stock investing, however, is about companies continuously finding new customers for their products.
