Rate Of ReturnCollecting paper stocks has become quite popular recently.
I see the sales volume on Taobao is huge, but the quality of the copies is not worth mentioning, and there's no anti-counterfeiting. If you want the real deal, here are two ways:
1. For Hong Kong stocks, ask your broker's customer service. At least Futu offers this service, but you need to go offline, and it costs 100 HKD. However, Hong Kong stocks will go paperless next year, so the genuine ones have collectible value.
2. For U.S. stocks, you can also ask your broker, but it's more expensive—500 USD. You can use intermediaries like giveashare.com to buy real shares or get collectible-grade replicas without buying shares, which cost 40 USD and are good value for money. I previously bought Berkshire Hathaway and Coca-Cola ones, and they look amazing when framed. They can also be shipped to China.
I originally thought about buying them to make copies and sell them—huge profits—but my lawyer said it's too risky.
