Some thoughts from an unexpected conversation I saw a couple of days ago. Ordinary people should pay more attention to their health, develop good habits in daily life, and live healthier and longer:

1. Have a routine physical examination once a year, and a gastrointestinal endoscopy every 3-5 years;

2. Do not smoke and drink less alcohol;

3. Avoid excessive intake of oil and salt;

4. Control weight and avoid obesity (few obese people among long-lived individuals);

5. Engage in moderate-intensity exercise 3-5 times a week, including both aerobic and anaerobic activities;

6. Do not overeat; consume fewer carbs and more vegetables and protein;

7. Sleep >= mood >= diet >= exercise. Turn on airplane mode while sleeping—nothing is more important than sleep. Additionally, avoid high-intensity exercise if sleep quality is poor.
