Lens Technology: "The Strongest Standard Edition in History" Sees Both Volume and Price Rise

The iPhone 17 standard edition "defies tradition" by upgrading to a 120Hz high refresh rate, addressing the most prominent shortcoming of the standard edition. The variable refresh rate also brings power savings, increasing video playback battery life by 8 hours. As the main supplier of structural components for the "strongest standard edition in history," Lens Technology provides the Ceramic Shield front and back panels and the metal frame.

The Ceramic Shield panel not only offers the transparency and touch of glass but also boasts ceramic-like hardness and toughness. Using "ion exchange strengthening + metal oxide coating" technology, its impact resistance is twice that of the previous generation, with a light transmittance of 98.5%, making it the top solution for smartphone cover materials. To meet the heat dissipation demands of AI computing, the frame has been upgraded to high thermal conductivity aluminum alloy, and the unit price of the metal frame has also risen.

Puyin International estimates that the upgrade in exterior components alone will bring Lens Technology a 20% revenue increase in the second half of the year. With the popularization of AI features and the application of on-device models, Apple's iteration pace for exterior design is expected to accelerate over the next 2-3 years. Lens Technology is poised to continue benefiting from the "volume and price rise" trend, solidifying its strategic position in Apple's supply chain.
