Rocket Lab secures contract for two dedicated launches with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency
Rocket Lab Corporation has secured a contract with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) for two dedicated Electron launches from New Zealand. The first launch, set for December 2025, will deploy JAXA’s RAISE-4 spacecraft, showcasing eight technologies from various Japanese entities. The second launch in 2026 will be a rideshare mission carrying eight spacecraft, including educational satellites and an ocean monitoring satellite.
