Emotion: Missed the purchase by 5 cents, felt a bit of regret at the time, but adjusted immediately
Review: Pre-market analysis suggested a dip followed by a V-shaped recovery, so I patiently waited for the initial drop. The call option bottomed out at 0.58, then pulled up a bullish candlestick with a gap. I placed an order at 0.71, the lower edge of the gap. Later, I switched screens to reply to messages, and when I came back, the gap was gone, but I didn’t get filled. I even wondered if I was seeing things, so I missed the trade. Since I missed it, I decided to take a break today.
Reflection: In terms of discipline, today’s approach undoubtedly maximized discipline. But being overly disciplined can also lead to missing more opportunities. So, does the threshold for discipline need to be balanced? 🤔
Consistent recording helps me clearly perceive my emotional progress—stay humble, stay calm, and maintain a balanced mindset.
