Last week, both Oracle and Broadcom's earnings reports disappointed, dropping more than 10%.
I should understand that when making this multiple-choice question, it's not necessarily that one of A or B will rise. Next time, pay attention to the option where both fall! 😠
I am bullish on $Broadcom(AVGO.US)
Google will increasingly use self-developed TPUs, which is extremely positive for Broadcom.
Because TPUs don't operate alone - they require supporting hardware to form complete computing clusters, including high-speed switches for fast data transfer between multiple TPUs and custom ASIC chips adapted to TPU computing logic. All these are exclusive supporting components provided by Broadcom to Google.
Moreover, I'm a relatively cautious person, so I mentally add a risk discount to Oracle's RPO (remaining performance obligations). Therefore, Oracle's future expected earnings stability is inferior to Broadcom's.
