It's been exactly half a year since I entered the US stock market circle, so I'm reviewing my performance late at night 🎶

After trading cryptocurrencies for seven years, I thought I'd seen all kinds of volatility. At first, I often got carried away and buried myself, frequently trading against the trend, which gave me position-opening anxiety. So catching trend entry signals and quick in-and-out trades became my subconscious trading philosophy.

After joining the US stock market circle, I've maintained this trading system, but I also missed the one-sided recovery rally opportunity in AI during 2025.

Last year's major trend mistakes included: CRCL, Microsoft, Broadcom, and what seemed to be a rare earth stock called CSML.

Because of Broadcom and Microsoft, I also became painfully aware of the huge losses from chasing wrong earnings reports and news. The first five months were full of ups and downs, but fortunately the long trend remained dominant (probably the power of US stocks 😹).

January's volatility was strong enough, and I found quite a few opportunities, achieving the milestone of nearly doubling my principal for the first time, hence this commemorative post!

For 2026, I remind myself to stay cautious, strictly cut losses, and learn more trading knowledge as soon as possible. My dream is to accumulate enough capital for long-term value investing!
