NVIDIA warns: China chip rules may strangle export plans
NVIDIA warned the Trump administration that new chip export rules targeting China are too strict and could destroy demand for its H200 AI chips. The company said requirements for buyers like Alibaba and ByteDance are too harsh and could undermine Trump's plan to profit the U.S. from exports. NVIDIA also warned that these rules resemble past restrictions and may ultimately benefit China's Huawei instead.
