Watching the semiconductor sector recently has been truly exhausting, with the AI segment experiencing ups and downs within it. MRVL's earnings report hasn't been released yet, but the market is betting it can hold up, yet it got its target price cut first. CRDO's management selling shares immediately cast a dark cloud; the copper cable part is old and stagnant, with funds directly fleeing, and the new main trend has all gone to optical interconnects. SNPS was actually scared this much by this wave of AI, down 18% in four days, and then seeing the Lightmatter collaboration news ignored, watching the loss is truly heartbreaking. On the other hand, small, niche stocks like TSEM and AXTI can rise seven or eight points in a day, soaring to the point of making one doubt life. Missing out on the rally + taking a loss is a double blow; you need to have your conviction and resilience maxed out to withstand it.
