The most self-destructive behavior of the middle class is imitating the rich.

You are a wage earner, someone who makes money by selling your intellect and labor, someone who can be replaced at any time.

You are imitating a group of rich people who rely on power, monopoly, and passive income to make money effortlessly. Aren't you just asking for trouble?

It will only get worse. Just one job loss, and you'll be back to square one, or even set back decades overnight. You can look at history abroad; many in the middle class ended up with nowhere to be buried because of this reason.

Many people say the rich are all borrowing money, but that's a lie. Those who need to borrow are fake rich people. Truly rich people don't borrow; they buy things in full cash, at the very least they personally have no debt. Any debt should be with their operating companies, because borrowing implies risk.

Meanwhile, you earn tens of thousands a month, maybe tens of thousands a year, and you go buy a bag for tens of thousands, thinking you've experienced luxury, but it's just nonsense. They earn tens of millions a month; buying a bag for tens of thousands is like buying cabbage for them. How can you even compare?

Recognizing your own social class, living within your means, and building a safe boundary for your life is very important.
