$SPDR S&P 500(SPY.US)

02/09/2026

Today's opening price was $689.420,

$SPY 260209 689 Call(SPY260209C689000.US) opened at $2.15,

$SPY 260209 690 Put(SPY260209P690000.US) opened at $2.24;

At market open, the Longbridge options calculator showed Put/Call IVs of 17.00%/17.40% respectively,

at 12:57 they were 12.30%/11.00%;

Volatility ranged from 0.47% at 09:44 to 1.06% at 12:57;

$SPY 260209 689 Call(SPY260209C689000.US)

The open today did not continue the downtrend that started pre-market at 08:24,

the first candle dropped sharply, then immediately started an uptrend,

There's an old saying on Wall Street: "One day does not make a trend",

it looks like the downtrend has been halted,

$SPY 260209 692 Call(SPY260209C692000.US)

10:04 $1.00 => 10:22 $1.55,

at 09:54 the pullback didn't break support, and the rise continued,

$Walmart(WMT.US)

12:07:04 $128.6700 => 12:19:12 $128.4100,SHORT,

The opening trend wasn't very clear today,

$SPDR S&P 500(SPY.US) was quite strong,

my mindset hadn't shifted yet,

I should have considered taking profits by shorting on rallies today,

$GraniteShares 2x Long NVDA Daily ETF(NVDL.US)

09:48:28 $91.5765 => 09:49:56 $92.2500,

I noticed it around $88.200 at 09:39,

but seeing it rise steadily from the open,

I was worried about a pullback and didn't dare to get in,

The half-hour after the open is a high-risk period for fake moves,

By the time I had my plan set up according to the rules, it was already late in the trend,

I missed out on a lot of gains,

$Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X Shares(TSLL.US)

10:04 $15.450 => 12:02 $16.200,

Pre-market, I asked $Alphabet(GOOGL.US)Gemini for Monday's trading strategy,

it told me "If $Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X Shares(TSLL.US) breaks above $15.800 (near Friday's high), you can follow the trend",

The logic seems very clear,

just a bit conservative perhaps,

The opening low was at $15.220,

far below the suggested entry point,

$Alibaba(BABA.US)

The strong open was unexpected,

In summary, I executed well today using limit orders to open positions and market orders to close,

Also, I realized that AI's fundamental + technical analysis isn't absolutely correct,

Don't blindly believe in it, but the thought process can be learned from.
