The retail and consumer sectors in my recent portfolio are really hard to describe. JD.com's efforts in logistics expansion overseas still couldn't lift the sentiment. On the contrary, Trip.com just rebounded a bit, only to be investigated for antitrust, making its gains seem hollow. Over in the US stock market, Walmart and Costco both plunged due to retail data, making me increasingly doubt the actual state of American consumer spending. It's all up to Home Depot to hold the fort, showing strength within stability before its February earnings report. In this current market, the more I look at my positions, the less confident I feel. Better to adopt a zen-like attitude and not make any rash moves.
