Recently, I've been a bit conflicted watching EWJ and VNM. The Japanese stock market hits new highs every day, and a bunch of people are hyping up EWJ. Guys like me who thought it was too expensive last year and didn't buy in are now starting to regret it, feeling like even a 0.6% pullback is too small a buying opportunity. On the other hand, VNM surged before the Vietnamese holiday, but recently there's been capital outflow, sentiment is a bit messy, yet the valuation is genuinely cheap, and foreign investors are even saying there might be a play after the new year. Honestly, I want to touch both, but I'm afraid one hand will buy at a high, and the other will just keep suffering. It's giving me a headache.
