Recently, the U.S. stock semiconductor sector has hit a bit of a snag. ANET, NVTS, and STM almost all pulled back across the board in a single day. Everyone was riding the AI hype, but in the end, even good news couldn't withstand profit-taking and rating downgrades. The market is really showing its displeasure. Executives are taking advantage of the high frequency to reduce their holdings, leaving us small retail investors to just watch the sideways movement in silence. Those who once went all-in on the AI narrative can only mock themselves now, saying, "Maybe AI isn't the cure, but rather a new source of internal friction." I really have no confidence in taking a position at this level; I'd rather just wait and see.
