$Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US) A summary of my own operations during multiple major one-sided market trends: I would take a quick bite and run just as it was about to break out of consolidation. After discovering it was a one-sided trend, I would hesitate again about whether to enter, and then I would be a step behind at every turn. This led to entering, taking a small profit, and leaving, not daring to hold for longer. It also caused frustration, which then led to making mistakes and possibly losing money. Don't go against the trend to take the opposite direction; you might get buried. Reduce trading, otherwise the commissions alone are a huge expense. When the direction is right, hold on, but also pay attention to the profit-taking point; don't be greedy.
