Watching the market today, I almost spat out a mouthful of old blood. $LAOPU GOLD(06181.HK) couldn't hold up against the drop, and shipping and oil services stocks collectively plunged even more, directly breaking my defenses. Although $GANFENGLITHIUM(01772.HK) fell less, the new energy sector is weak again now, so there's not much hope left... It feels like neither gold as a safe haven nor this wave of resources and energy could escape being crushed by the broader market. I diversified my positions a few days ago thinking it could hold up, but it ended up being a total wipeout instead, which is kind of funny. I'll continue to hold my positions passively and see what happens. I guess I can only go for a walk in the park this weekend.
