According to a report from the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on the 12th, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ravanchi stated during a media interview that day that Iran allows ships from some countries to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

Ravanchi said that some countries have held discussions with Iran regarding navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran has cooperated with them. However, countries involved in aggression against Iran do not enjoy the "right of safe passage" through the Strait of Hormuz.

Ravanchi also stated that Iran has not laid mines in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz.
