From my own experience, one needs to maintain a level of strength training 'equivalent to at least 500 pull-ups and 500 push-ups accumulated per week' in order to maintain muscle health. Once muscles are healthy, blood sugar and brain health naturally become non-issues. It's a pity to see some middle-aged people taking statins as a matter-of-course choice. All medicine is somewhat toxic. Strength training is a crucial pillar for sustaining health. Not building this pillar but resorting to medication is putting the cart before the horse, and it cannot change the harsh reality of one's own health being hollowed out.
