It's pretty much the same trajectory pieced together from previous fragmented information, and the prequel was also within expectations. The biggest problem is the far-fetched romantic narrative, always seeking shortcuts at the meta-cognitive level, hoping to get rich quickly upon a sudden enlightenment. It can be traced back to adolescence: while others were refining general models, Xiao Gu was stubbornly grinding away at ancient poetry, and ended up refining a specialized small model. This small model might have its own niche, but it's probably not in the capital market, and maybe not even in the dating scene (this is my personal bias: having spent a few more years in school, I find pedantic airs even more unbearable).
