[TrueZhuo HK Stock Trends] Guofu Hydrogen Energy (02582.HK) Partners with Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group Family Fund for Joint Venture to Enter New Tracks of Southeast Asia Data Center Power Supply and Hydrogen Equipment

China's leading hydrogen energy manufacturing, storage, transportation and supply equipment manufacturer — $GUOFUHEE(02582.HK) announced that it has recently reached an in-depth joint venture cooperation with a holding company under the family fund of a core member of Thailand's Charoen Pokphand (CP) Group. The two parties will formally establish a joint venture company to jointly embark on a new journey in Southeast Asia's AI data center power supply products and hydrogen energy equipment and facilities layout, helping the region's digital economy achieve low-carbon transformation and the hydrogen industry achieve scaled development. This cooperation closely addresses the pain points of power shortages and high energy consumption in the face of rapid growth of AI data centers in Southeast Asia. With modular data center power supply products as the core, it will provide stable, low-carbon, and efficient power guarantees for data centers in Thailand and Southeast Asia, breaking through the development bottleneck of regional computing power infrastructure.
According to the joint venture agreement, the newly established joint venture will focus on "regional market operation" as its core positioning, targeting three major core business segments to precisely meet the needs of the Southeast Asian market:
1. Low-carbon power supply solutions for AI data centers: Focusing on the pain points of power shortages and high energy consumption under the rapid growth of AI data centers in Southeast Asia, leveraging Guofu Hydrogen Energy's deep technical accumulation in power generation and distributed energy, to provide stable and reliable power supply for data centers. This responds to the urgent need for green computing power infrastructure in Thailand and Southeast Asia's digital economy transformation, helping the regional data center industry achieve "low-carbon, efficient, and sustainable" development.
2. Construction of hydrogen energy transportation and refueling network system: Focusing on the pain points of commercializing hydrogen energy transportation in Southeast Asia, with a key focus on promoting the application of hydrogen-powered heavy trucks and hydrogen supply systems based on hydrogen swapping models. Simultaneously, it will deploy hydrogen refueling station networks in key areas such as Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and Bangkok's core economic zones, advancing the construction, operation, and maintenance of hydrogen refueling stations, and building an integrated "hydrogen production - storage - transportation - refueling - utilization" hydrogen energy transportation ecosystem. This move will help Thailand reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector, promote the commercial demonstration and scaled application of hydrogen-powered heavy trucks in scenarios such as logistics, ports, and industry, and improve the regional hydrogen energy industry chain.
3. Smart drone industry ecosystem layout: Leveraging the CP Group's industrial resources and channel advantages in Thailand's local agriculture and logistics sectors, it will deploy agricultural plant protection drones and logistics drone businesses, empowering the modernization and upgrade of agriculture in Thailand and Southeast Asia, and improving agricultural production efficiency and intelligence levels. At the same time, it will deploy smart logistics drone networks to build an efficient, low-cost last-mile logistics distribution system, helping the high-quality development of the regional smart logistics industry.
As the core engine of digital economic development in Southeast Asia, Thailand's data center market is experiencing explosive growth. According to exclusive monitoring by IDCNOVA, as of April 2026, Thailand has about 60 publicly trackable data center facilities, distributed across 8 core markets, placing it in the first tier of Southeast Asia's data center hotspots. True IDC, as Thailand's local computing power flagship, currently has a total power capacity exceeding 150MW. It launched Thailand's first AI hyperscale data center in 2025 and announced a new-generation AI hyperscale campus in the EEC region in April 2026, continuously unleashing the growth potential of the regional market.
Currently, industry leaders like the CP Group are accelerating the deployment of data center infrastructure in Thailand, with green and low-carbon becoming a consensus in industry development. This strong alliance will prioritize data center green energy solutions as a breakthrough to quickly capture market share, while simultaneously advancing the implementation of hydrogen energy transportation and smart drone businesses, forming a synergistic development pattern of "digital energy + hydrogen transportation + smart equipment".
