[Optical Fiber] On June 24, Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (601869) announced during the 2026 MWC Shanghai exhibition. As of now, the company has cumulatively delivered over 10,000 core kilometers of its hollow-core fiber, setting multiple records including the lowest attenuation of 0.04dB/km, the longest draw length of 91.2 km, and the longest commercial link of 100 km. It has deployed over 13 commercial and pilot projects domestically and overseas, becoming the world's most widely commercially deployed supplier of hollow-core fiber.

Original speech by President Zhuang at MMC on June 24: (1) For polarization-maintaining fiber, Yangtze Optical Fibre is the only Chinese company with formal mass production certification in North America. Customer feedback indicates several-fold to 10x growth in the next 2-3 years for use in CPO and NPO. (2) Yangtze Optical Fibre's ASR ribbon cable (6912 cores) has been delivered to customers for commercial use, primarily for North American data center clients. (3) Yangtze Optical Fibre's high-density FAU has received deep customization certification from leading overseas clients. MMC and SN­MT patch cords have also received batch certification from leading overseas data centers. (4) It is predicted that by 2030, the demand for optical fiber in intelligent computing centers will exceed 50% of the total optical fiber demand.
