奇瑞品牌官宣全新新能源序列命名——风云，风云序列车型——风云 A9。
风云最早上市时间是在 2001 年，那是我高考和上大学的时间，😄！奇瑞=在成立后，于 1999 年生产了其第一台发动机，并于 1999 年 12 月 18 日正式生产了奇瑞风云汽车，于 2001 年上市销售。定位为一款三厢轿车，在当时以三厢车型为主流的市场中脱颖而出。其外观设计符合当时的审美趋势，使其在颜值上具有竞争力。为了能够成功推出奇瑞风云并将其销售出去，奇瑞成立了上汽奇瑞（SAIC Chery），与上汽集团（SAIC Group）合作。奇瑞风云搭载了 1.6 升发动机，提供不错的动力性能。其最大功率为 69 千瓦，峰值扭矩为 132 牛·米，同时百公里油耗仅为 6.3 升。奇瑞风云于 2001 年上市，当年就取得了 2.8 万辆的销售成绩。确实是白驹过隙，时代变迁！
