
The State Administration for Market Regulation: Strengthen the enforcement of price regulation for trade-in products
At today's (16th) special press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce, a relevant person in charge of the State Administration for Market Regulation stated that market regulation departments will further strengthen the enforcement of price regulation for trade-in products such as mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches (bands), and home appliances, in order to protect consumers' legitimate rights and interests. Zhang Zhengming, deputy director of the Price Supervision and Competition Bureau of the State Administration for Market Regulation, stated that key consumer goods such as televisions, laptops, mobile phones, and children's smartwatches will be included in the 2024 key industrial product quality and safety supervision catalog, and local market regulation departments will be deployed to strengthen key supervision.
