Former General Manager of CNOOC Li Yong prosecuted for corruption

Li Yong, the former general manager of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, has been prosecuted by the Xiangyang Municipal People's Procuratorate on suspicion of bribery. The procuratorial agency accuses Li Yong of using his position to seek benefits for others and illegally accepting huge amounts of property. The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection pointed out that Li Yong colluded with illegal businessmen, engaged in power-for-money transactions for a long time, had a serious negative impact, and should be dealt with severely.
