In Chicago, Coeur Mining, Inc. (NYSE: CDE) has successfully finalized its acquisition of SilverCrest Metals Inc. The acquisition, which was completed per the definitive agreement announced on October 4, 2024, involved Coeur acquiring all of SilverCrest's common shares. Shareholders of SilverCrest received a substantial sum as part of the transaction.
