ANALOGUE HLDGS Group's new headquarters "ANALOGUE HLDGS Building" has been transformed into a smart building, focusing on technology research and development as well as talent training, receiving praise from the Secretary for Development. The building is a successful case of the industrial building revitalization program and has obtained the Platinum certification from the BEAM Plus green building assessment. The new headquarters marks a new milestone in ANALOGUE HLDGS's pursuit of innovation and quality, and it will continue to nurture young talent and promote the development of the engineering industry in Hong Kong

ANALOGUE HLDGS Group's new headquarters "ANALOGUE HLDGS Building" has been transformed from an industrial building into a smart building, with part of the floor space used for designing and researching cutting-edge technologies and training young talents. The Secretary for Development, Ning Hanhao, praised it for pioneering a new path, reflecting the social benefits that can be realized after the revitalization of industrial buildings. The group stated that the new headquarters is not only an investment in Hong Kong and the future but also marks a new milestone in ANALOGUE HLDGS's pursuit of innovation and quality.

Located in the Kwai Chung Industrial Area, the "ANALOGUE HLDGS Building" embodies the integration of innovative building technology and sustainable development, becoming a successful case of the government's "Industrial Building Revitalization Scheme," and has received provisional platinum certification under the new version of the Green Building Environmental Assessment.

The Secretary for Development, Ning Hanhao, recently officiated at the opening ceremony of the "ANALOGUE HLDGS Design, Research and Training Center and ANALOGUE HLDGS Building," where he, along with guests including Deputy Director of the Education and Technology Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Ye Shuiqiu, and representatives from government departments and the industry, learned about advanced building methods and digital technology research and development work at the center. This includes technologies such as Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Synthesis Method (MiMEP), Modular Integrated Construction (MiC), Building Information Modeling (BIM), AI-driven Digital Twin, Internet of Things (IoT), liquid cooling for supercomputing centers, as well as various water purification, wastewater and waste treatment, and climate solutions.

Ning Hanhao stated that converting an industrial building is more challenging than rebuilding it. "The revitalized ANALOGUE HLDGS Building is the first building to meet government requirements by dedicating 10% of its floor space to functions that benefit social development, becoming a design research and training center, which is very commendable and sets a precedent."

For over 40 years, ANALOGUE HLDGS has trained more than 1,100 talents through its university graduate and technician training programs, serving in various positions within the group and the engineering sector. With the opening of the center, ANALOGUE HLDGS will continue to nurture more young people in Hong Kong into outstanding talents with advanced engineering technology capabilities.

Chairman of ANALOGUE HLDGS, Mai Jianhua, stated: "In today's era where technological waves reshape industrial patterns, ANALOGUE HLDGS, as a pioneer in electromechanical engineering and smart city technology services, has been investing in research and development for decades, committed to working hand in hand with clients to provide professional and advanced solutions, creating value for the community. The new headquarters demonstrates our confidence in the future, continuing to invest in Hong Kong and contributing to the upgrading and development of the engineering industry."

MiMEP Technology Pioneer Combines Productivity in the Greater Bay Area

ANALOGUE HLDGS's business covers building services engineering, environmental engineering, information, communication, and building technology, as well as elevators and escalators, with footprints across various regions globally. It has participated in numerous key projects in Hong Kong and the mainland, including the Hong Kong Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works, one of the top ten in the world, the Shanghai Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant, Hong Kong's e-Channel for passenger self-service immigration inspection, and the renovation of the Central to Mid-Levels Escalator and Walkway System. Its international brand Anlev provides innovative, reliable, and efficient elevator and escalator solutions to clients worldwide.

In recent years, the Development Bureau has actively promoted advanced construction technologies. As an industry pioneer adopting these technologies, ANALOGUE HLDGS applied the MiMEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Integrated Method), Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), and Building Information Modeling (BIM) in over 50% of its building services engineering projects last year, assisting clients in improving project management decisions, quality, required construction time, productivity, and safety risks. Among them, a Grade A office building on Leighton Road in Causeway Bay had 85% of its building services installed by ANALOGUE HLDGS using MiMEP technology, representing the highest application ratio of MiMEP in private construction in Hong Kong.

The Development Bureau recently posted on social media stating that MiMEP is an important element for the future construction industry towards technological, digital, and modern industrial development. The government will continue to formulate appropriate measures to promote the wider application of MiMEP.

Zheng Wei-neng, Managing Director of ANALOGUE HLDGS Group, stated that based on years of accumulated experience, they have independently developed MiMEP work guidelines and systems, allowing engineers to accurately calculate the dimensions of various mechanical and electrical modules and prefabricated components. He pointed out that ANALOGUE HLDGS has established a "MiMEP Design and Construction Center" and a "MiMEP Efficient Production R&D Center" in Hong Kong and Zhuhai, combining the productivity of the Greater Bay Area to meet the growing market demand and create unique customer value. "We connect the MiMEP center with the ANALOGUE HLDGS building through real-time remote monitoring and high-definition cameras, allowing clients to closely monitor complex production processes at our new headquarters to ensure quality."
