Upon detection, Nevro launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cyber security experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to Nevro's systems and may have viewed and taken sensitive information between November 21, 2024, and December 1, 2024. Nevro conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted data to determine what information was compromised and identified affected individuals. On March 14, 2025, Nevro identified persons whose sensitive data was included in the impacted data.Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised: name, Social Security number, driver's license number, financial information (e.g., account number, credit or debit card number), medical information, and health insurance information. On April 3, 2025, Nevro made a public disclosure to the California Attorney General and began sending out notice letters to the impacted individuals.
