
Green methanol is first refueled in domestic dual-fuel vessels
On July 2nd, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) announced that the first batch of green methanol made from urban waste was completed at Yangpu Port in Hainan, with the refueling operation of the domestically produced methanol dual-fuel container ship "COSCO Shipping Yangpu." The green methanol is produced by China BlueChemical Co., Ltd. using biogas generated from the fermentation of urban kitchen waste, animal manure, and other waste materials.
