According to the Zhitong Finance APP, APT SATELLITE announced that the group expects its shareholders' profit for the first half of the financial year ending June 30, 2025, to decline by approximately more than 20% compared to the same period last year. The announcement stated that the main reasons for the profit decline are the continued oversupply of satellite transponder resources in the Asia-Pacific region, intense market competition leading to price declines, which in turn affects operating revenue; and rising leasing costs
