Domestic green methanol achieves full-chain connectivity, Shanghai Port leads a new breakthrough in green shipping
On July 11th, the methanol bunkering vessel "HaiGang ZhiYuan" under Shanghai Port Energy refueled 1,000 tons of domestically produced green methanol fuel for China's first methanol dual-fuel powered container ship "COSCO Ship Yangpu" at the Yangshan Port Shengdong Terminal yesterday. This signifies that Shanghai Port has established a complete domestic green methanol bunkering supply chain characterized by "fuel independence, ship self-manufacturing, technological self-improvement, and normalized operations," providing a sustainable solution for the green and low-carbon transformation of the international shipping industry
