TalkMed shareholders approve Tamarind Health’s privatisation offer

TalkMed shareholders have approved Tamarind Health's privatisation offer, with 98 shareholders representing 89.1% voting in favor. The offer, at S$0.456 per share, was proposed by TW Troy, a special-purpose vehicle managed by Tamarind Health. The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore cleared the acquisition on Jun 27. TalkMed plans to submit a court application to sanction the scheme, with a hearing expected around Aug 5. The scheme is anticipated to become effective on Aug 20, with payment by Aug 29 and delisting by Sep 2.
