FAWAY has secured designated seating projects for joint venture and self-owned brand clients
FAWAY announced that Changchun FAWAY Group Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. has received a project designation notice for seats from a well-known joint venture brand and an independent brand, and will act as a parts supplier for product development. The project is expected to begin mass supply in August and September 2026, with a total sales amount over its lifecycle estimated at RMB 5.1 billion
According to the announcement from FAWAY (600742.SH), Changchun FAWAY Group Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. recently received a designated notification from a well-known joint venture brand and a well-known independent brand manufacturer (name cannot be disclosed due to confidentiality requirements). The company will serve as the parts supplier for the customer, developing seat products for their vehicle models, and will complete the product development work as required.
According to the customer's plan, the aforementioned projects are expected to begin bulk supply in August 2026 and September 2026, respectively. The expected project lifecycle is 7 years and 8 years, with total sales amounts expected to be RMB 1.9 billion and RMB 3.2 billion, respectively
