The new graphite film has been launched, with grain sizes approximately 10,000 times that of traditional artificial graphite! There are fewer than 10 concept stocks
According to a report by Science and Technology Daily citing the latest issue of Nature Communications, the Korea Institute of Basic Science has developed a groundbreaking method to produce millimeter-scale, mirror-smooth graphite films, with grain sizes approximately 10,000 times larger than traditional synthetic graphite. Mechanical testing results show that the Young's modulus of this graphite film reaches 969 gigapascals, with a tensile strength of 1.29 gigapascals, approaching the theoretical limit of single-crystal graphite. The in-plane thermal conductivity is as high as 2034 watts per meter·kelvin, exceeding that of copper, and the electrical conductivity reaches 22,500 siemens per centimeter, setting a new performance record for macroscopic synthetic graphite. This achievement is expected to promote the application of high-quality graphite in thermal management, electronic devices, and advanced batteries to a new level. According to statistics from Securities Times·Data Treasure, there are fewer than 10 stocks related to graphite business in the A-share market. As of the close on August 13, only 3 stocks had a rolling price-to-earnings ratio below 30 times, namely Longbai Group, BTR, and HNZK Electric. Among the concept stocks that have announced performance data, DaoTech and HNZK Electric reported net profit growth. HNZK Electric expects a net profit of 232 million to 301 million yuan in the first half of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 235% to 335%. DaoTech has released its semi-annual report, showing a net profit of 230 million yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 108.16%
