According to Zhitong Finance APP, data from TrendForce shows that in July 2025, the bidding scale (including shortlisted candidates) in the photovoltaic module market reached 4.62GW, with a significant proportion of N-type modules; the bidding price range was 0.608-0.74 yuan/W, with an average price of 0.701 yuan/W, where TOPCon prices slightly increased; the delivery period mainly falls between August and October, with some extending to 2026, flexibly adapting to diverse demands.
4.62GW Project Disclosure Results Highlighting N-type Module Proportion
According to incomplete statistics from TrendForce's photovoltaic storage observation, the disclosed bidding results and shortlisted candidates for photovoltaic modules in July 2025 reached a scale of 4.62GW, including a confirmed bidding scale of 1.39GW, with the first shortlisted candidate scale at 3.23GW.
The confirmed bidding scale for N-type modules (including shortlisted candidates) reached 3.35GW, with the main increment coming from China Railway Construction's 3GW photovoltaic module framework procurement project. Ten companies, including LONGi (601012.SH), Jinko, Trina Solar (688599.SH), Tongwei, JA Solar, Chint, Yingli, GCL-Poly (002506.SZ), Yida New Energy, and Canadian Solar, successfully made the shortlist.
Bidding Prices Range from 0.608 to 0.74 yuan/W with Slight Increase in TOPCon Module Prices
In July, the bidding price range for photovoltaic modules was 0.608-0.74 yuan/W, with an average price of 0.701 yuan/W.
The lowest bid was submitted by Hebei Haopan Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. for the procurement of photovoltaic modules at Huaneng Xingtai Comprehensive Energy, Xinhe Handao, Hebei Jieyuan, and Qinghe Xusheng photovoltaic stations; the highest bid was submitted by Chint New Energy for the procurement of photovoltaic modules for the 640MW photovoltaic power generation project in Sichuan Huadian Liangshan Prefecture, Yanyuan Baiwu Phase II.

From a technical perspective, the bidding price range for confirmed N-type modules is between 0.701-0.74 yuan/W, with an average price of 0.715 yuan/W. Specifically:
TOPCon module prices are generally maintained at 0.70 yuan/W and above, with slight price increases driven by anti-involution policies and cost pressures.
In terms of HJT, Risen Energy successfully secured the EPC general contracting procurement project for photovoltaic modules (heterojunction) for the 200MW photovoltaic power generation project at Datang Jinneng Qiziwan, with specific bidding prices yet to be disclosed.
There were no open bidding projects for BC modules this month.
Delivery Period Mainly Between August and October, Flexibly Adapting to Diverse Project Cycles
In terms of delivery time, the projects with disclosed bidding results and shortlisted candidates in July mainly focus on short-term concentrated deliveries, with August to October being the primary delivery window. Procurement projects for Huadian Group (766.6MW) and Guangdong Energy Group (124.09MW) are set for delivery within this timeframe; additionally, some projects have extended delivery deadlines to 2026, and some projects adopt phased delivery methods, meeting immediate needs while reserving adjustment space for long-term cooperation

With the gradual improvement of the detailed rules of Document No. 136 in various provinces and cities, central state-owned enterprises are accelerating the implementation of photovoltaic projects. China Resources Power's 3GW photovoltaic module centralized procurement opened bidding on August 18, with bid prices ranging from 0.673 to 0.776 yuan/W; China Huadian Group's 20GW photovoltaic module centralized procurement is scheduled to open bidding on August 19.
