Self-driving vehicle startup Nuro valued at $6 billion in late-stage funding round

Self-driving vehicle startup Nuro has raised $203 million in a late-stage funding round, achieving a valuation of $6 billion. This funding comes from new investors Uber and Nvidia, as well as returning backers. Nuro's valuation has decreased from $8.6 billion in 2021, reflecting broader market conditions. The company aims to scale its self-driving platform and has partnered with Lucid and Uber to launch a global robotaxi service, planning to deploy over 20,000 vehicles starting in 2026.
