COSMOPOL INT'L expects mid-term losses to decrease to 57 million, compared to 169 million in the same period last year

COSMOPOL INT'L (00120.HK) announced that for the six months ending June 30, 2025, the group is expected to record a consolidated loss attributable to shareholders of approximately HKD 57 million, compared to a loss of HKD 169 million in the same period last year.

COSMOPOL INT'L stated that the attributable loss for the two comparative periods has decreased, mainly due to a reduction in tax expenses. During the 2024 interim period, the group's property projects in China saw a significant increase in tax expenses due to a revision of the project development cost allocation basis adopted in previous years
