BJ ENT URBAN (03718.HK) announced its interim results for the period ending June this year, with revenue of RMB 3.039 billion, an increase of 13.1% year-on-year. Net profit was HKD 32.52 million, a decrease of 74.7% year-on-year; earnings per share were HKD 0.91. An interim dividend of HKD 0.018 was declared, compared to HKD 0.012 in the same period last year.

The company explained that the decrease in net profit was mainly due to a provision for impairment losses on non-current assets of RMB 161.5 million recognized in the first half of the year. The impairment loss provision is a one-time non-cash expense and does not affect the group's cash flow
