PROSPEROUSPRINT issued a profit warning, expecting a net loss attributable to shareholders of no less than HKD 26.4 million in the first half of 2025, an improvement compared to approximately HKD 29 million in the first half of 2024. The company's revenue is expected to decline from approximately HKD 43.5 million in the first half of 2024 to about HKD 1.2 million in the first half of 2025, mainly due to the closure of the Shenzhen factory and the delay in obtaining printing licenses for the Huizhou factory, as well as increased financing costs. In the future, the company will explore more advanced printing technologies and other revenue opportunities
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, PROSPEROUSPRINT (08385) announced that the company expects to record a net loss attributable to equity holders of not less than HKD 26.4 million in the first half of 2025, while a net loss of approximately HKD 29 million was recorded for the six months ended June 30, 2024. The group's revenue is expected to decrease from approximately HKD 43.5 million in the first half of 2024 to approximately HKD 1.2 million in the first half of 2025.
Based on currently available information, the company's expected net loss is mainly due to (i) the closure of the Shenzhen factory in May 2024 and the printing license for the Huizhou factory not being obtained until May 2025, leading to a decrease in revenue; and (ii) an increase in financing costs for the group in the first half of 2025. Looking ahead, the company will explore and seek other opportunities in more advanced printing businesses to expand the group's revenue sources
