Advanced Holdings’ Wong Kar King sells 16.78% stake in the company to Asia Agri
Dr. Wong Kar King has sold a 16.78% stake in Advanced Holdings Limited, amounting to 17 million shares, to Asia Agri Renewable Fund, effective August 26, 2025. Following this transaction, Wong's ownership in the company decreased from 25.08% to 8.3%, resulting in him no longer being a controlling shareholder. However, he will continue to serve as the managing director of the company.
Following the sale, he ceases to be a controlling shareholder of the company.
Advanced Holdings Limited has announced that Dr Wong Kar King, a controlling shareholder of the company, has sold 17 million shares to Asia Agri Renewable Fund on 26 August 2025 via an off-market transaction.
These shares represent approximately 16.78% of the entire issued shares of the company.
Wong ceases to be a controlling shareholder of the company as his stake in the company decreased to 8.3% from 25.08%.
Advanced Holdings noted that he will remain as the company’s managing director.
