TOMSON GROUP released its interim results for the period ending June 30, 2025, with a profit attributable to shareholders of HKD 782 million, an increase of 654.51% year-on-year. The total operating income amounted to HKD 2.645 billion, an increase of 1880% year-on-year. Property development and sales were the main sources of profit, contributing HKD 1.63 billion, while property investment contributed HKD 80.239 million
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, TOMSON GROUP (00258) released its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2025. The group achieved total operating income of HKD 2.645 billion, an increase of 1880% year-on-year; the profit attributable to equity holders of the company was HKD 782 million, an increase of 654.51% year-on-year; basic earnings per share were HKD 0.3596.
In the first six months of 2025, property development and sales were the primary sources of profit for the group, generating segment profit of HKD 1.63 billion (2024: loss of HKD 28.248 million), attributed to property sales in Shanghai.
Property investment was the second largest source of profit for the group, contributing segment profit of HKD 80.239 million (2024: HKD 93.979 million). Apart from the unrealized gains from fair value changes after revaluing the group's investment properties in Shanghai at the end of the period, this segment profit came from rental income and property management fees from the group's investment properties
