Thomson Medical sinks into the red with S$34.7 million loss in H2

Thomson Medical reported a net loss of S$34.7 million for H2 FY2025, compared to a profit of S$12.1 million in the same period last year, despite a revenue increase to S$195.6 million. The loss was attributed to a significant rise in operating expenses, particularly a one-off impairment loss from its Vietnam acquisition. For the full year, the company posted a net loss of S$47.6 million, with revenue growth driven by Malaysia but a decline in Singapore. Looking ahead, Thomson Medical anticipates continued losses as it invests in strategic initiatives and expansion plans.
