
Yifi Laser leads the launch of a major technology project
On August 29th, the project "Key Technologies and Equipment Development for Precision Laser Welding of Full-Ear Large Cylindrical Batteries" led by Yifi Laser officially commenced. The project collaborates with battery companies such as Yiwei Lithium Energy, Guoxuan High-Tech, Chuangneng New Energy, and Yunshan Power, as well as research institutions like Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan Yizhi Xincheng Technology Testing Co., Ltd. The project focuses on the laser welding process of full-ear large cylindrical batteries, addressing challenges such as high-reflective materials with abrupt physical property changes during welding, ultra-thin multi-layer full-ear materials, and precise control of large temperature gradients between the ear and separator. It aims to develop laser light field spatiotemporal control technology and devices, multi-parameter fusion perception for real-time welding monitoring technology and systems, as well as the integration and application of precision laser welding equipment for full-ear batteries, striving for systematic optimization of yield, stability, and speed, and accelerating the large-scale, standardized, and industrialized realization of full-ear large cylindrical batteries
