CTIHK signed an exclusive distribution agreement for Huanghelou cigars with Hubei Zhongyan and an exclusive agency agreement for Taishan cigars with Shandong Zhongyan

According to the announcement from China Tobacco Hong Kong (06055), the company signed an exclusive distribution agreement for the "Huanghelou" cigar global market with Hubei China Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd. on September 2, 2025, based on the framework agreement for exporting cigarettes to new regions. Additionally, on September 4, 2025, the company signed an exclusive agency agreement for the "Taishan" cigar global market with Shandong China Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd., further promoting the construction of a global sales platform for Chinese cigars and jointly cultivating the Chinese cigar brand.

According to the exclusive distribution agreement for Huanghelou cigars and the exclusive agency agreement for Taishan cigars, the exclusive distribution scope of the company's "Huanghelou" cigars and "Taishan" cigars has been expanded from the original duty-free markets in the Kingdom of Thailand, the Republic of Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau, as well as the duty-free market in mainland China, to the global market (excluding mainland China). This move represents significant progress in the company's layout in the global market for Chinese cigars, following the exclusive distribution agreement for the "Great Wall" cigar signed with Sichuan China Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd. on July 23, 2025. It is expected to further broaden the company's development space and cultivate new profit growth points. Therefore, the board of directors believes that signing the exclusive distribution agreement for Huanghelou cigars and the exclusive agency agreement for Taishan cigars is in the overall interest of the company and its shareholders
